I was able to meet the qualifications for benchmark 12 in my Algebra 2 class by performing basic calculations, which are shown here on my Algebra 2A exam.
Benchmark 13 was met by calculating fractions, percentages and decimals. I used all three of these in Algebra 2 on my unit 7 Trigonometric Functions and Sequences test.
Calculating distances and weight were the qualifications for benchmark 16. For an example of this, I had to use different formulas using degrees and lengths of triangles to find the sine, cosine and tangent values. The unit circle is also a very important tool in this chapter of Algebra 2, which also helped me coordinate ordered pairs.
Benchmark 17 required using a calculator to solve problems. I've pretty much met this benchmark with every piece of Mathematics and Science that I've done ranging from finding the values of x in basic Algebra, solving problems that require the use of pi (3.14), and use of high number exponents.
